Hand Brake Turn approached Think Graphics and MJL Photography to compose a graphical piece that would appeal to a teenage audience in attracting attention to their certificate 2 in Automotive, Body Repair Technology program. The course had been struggling to attract new enrolments and the organisation felt that the tone and feel of the program were not engaging with their desired younger audience. HBT sought troubled youth who had dropped out of the education system and wanted another opportunity to learn a skill. Think Graphics and MJL Photography were set the task of creating and A3 poster and Informative DL for both teachers and students alike to be distributed to over 200 schools within Victoria. The brief was to create a video game style advertisement in order to appeal to teenagers due to the rising interest in car racing games and racing culture, yet have a subdued tone in order to present the course as a credible and professional educational platform. In conjunction to this MJL Photography also provided a series of photographic elements to aid the campaign and promotion of the course.
